Incentives for Voting

Hello, Promethians!

I believe that a great way to get more votes for this server is to give rewards for voting. It works because it encourages players to vote in order to obtain certain items or temporary advantages in the game. This system can truly encourage players to vote. I have some suggestions for the Reward Voting System:

Suggestions:

1) Voting for Promethian Points (PP)
This is basically when you get x number of PP every time a player votes for this server. These PP can be redeemed for certain items in a shop.

2) Voting for money.
Since Promethius 718 is an economy server, money as a reward is something very tempting for players. Players can vote in order to obtain x number of coins every 24 hours. It's a new currency!

3) Voting for Double XP
Since experience are kept fairly low on this server, players can vote in order to get double the amount of experience for 24 hours. This can help new players train skills as well as combat.

In my opinion, I think that #1 will be the most effective. This is due to the fact that the PP can be saved up for items.

If you would like to add on to this list, please feel free. Please vote on which method of the Reward Voting System you would like best if it was implemented into the game. Do you like #1, #2, or #3?

This is a great idea!  When ever I join a new server, this is what I suggest to the owner/developers!  The only problem is that it's not just the server sided coding you need, to stop people from abusing and get billions of voting glitches/proxies, it is best to do it through a html coded site!(Doesn't have to be html)  The site makes it so it reads the actual ip, goes through all the vpn's and proxies, and makes it so it is harder for people to do a vote glitch.  I've learned with past expierences of servers with the vote4rewards, most had **** economy's because people were able to find a vote glitch, making them become very very rich and wealthy.  But, now with coders getting better and better, some servers (Matrix, Fatality614) have made it so it is extremely hard to do a vote glitch.
